Non-Market App

Hello,

I've nearly finished developing an android application for every day use aiming on a (not very small) special interest group, but actually i have no play store account (but will make one as soon as possible).
So at the moment the app is published as a beta via my homepage, with no download counter. Moneytizing is planned either via donations or via AdMob.
Now my question is, if this does matter for rating the app in the contest submitting an open and non-market beta version.

Thank you for your help

Jamesii, hello! You can submit your app with the link to your homepage (so jury can take a look at it). And you need to write description (important to mention how you plan to monetize it).
Every nomination has its own judging criteria. But the most important for evaluating is going to be the level of uniqueness, monetization scheme, market volume, installation count. But it does not mean that an app will lose because it has 0-300 downloads per week comparing to someone with 30000. Every app will be evaluated according to all judging criteria.

    Wish you good luck!
